I have been searching for my perfect matte lipstick formula that will not dry out my lips. I usually top up with a clear lip gloss to counter the dryness. The design is nothing new, they have kept it pretty simple, sleek, and minimalist design with a color-matching cap and ends. The lip crayon has a black exterior with the brand name and a shade name with the manufacturing and expiring date, which I love.
Be aware that this pen is not retractable, which is a bit of a bummer because sharpening leads to some serious product sacrifice. But hey, given its price tag, I won’t be lodging any formal complaints anytime soon.
Do get yourself a jumbo sharpener since this product does not come with a sharpener.
COLOURS
The color selection of the Swiss beauty stay-on matte lip crayons is quite broad, offering 24 shades that span from cozy nudes to lively hues like reds and pinks, perfect for any occasion.
This particular nude shade will suit most Indian skin tones especially medium to dusky skin tones.
PERFORMANCE
These lipsticks are soft, creamy, and buttery. You get a full-colour payoff with a single swipe. They are transferproof and are not super drying on the lips. It does survive light meals then again, I would not trust the promised 12-hour wear, especially if you are having drinks or snacks frequently. It starts to fade from the middle of your lips. Like most matte lipsticks, oily foods can cause the color to fade and transfer so you definitely need to reapply after a full meal.
I would say applying the Swiss beauty lipstick is effortless since there is no pulling or tugging on my lips. I adore how lightweight it feels, and as I mentioned earlier it does not dry out my lips. Still, I would advise applying lip balm before using any matte lipstick. The finish is perfect matte without being patchy or streaky. Coming to its staying power which is impressive too, maybe not for 12 hours as the brand claims but still it does hold on for hours without fading.

Speaking of comfort alone, these crayons are a much better choice than the Swiss beauty non-transfer lipsticks that come in gold packaging. Instead, the bullet lipsticks excel when it comes to wearability which is around 7-8 hours and they survive meals too but are drying on the lips since it is super matte. So choose depending on what you are actually looking for.
