Juice For Weight Loss And Glowing Skin Recipe
- Cucumber – 2
- Ginger – 1 or 2 inch piece
- Coriander/Cilantro – Half cup
- Mint Leaves – Half cup
- Curry Leaves – 15 to 20
- Lemon juice – half of one
- Chaat Masala – 1 Teaspoon
- Black salt – as needed
- Water – 3 glass full
Chaat masala adds flavour to the otherwise bland cucumber juice. If you do not have it then just skip it. Or add the chaat masala ingredients separately.
I have tried this juice without adding chaat masala too and it tastes fine (to me at least). I changed the recipe as my husband was not a fan of its taste.
What Is Chaat Masala?
The ingredients in Chaat masala are, dry mango powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, black pepper powder, asafoetida powder and black salt.You can find chaat masala online or in super markets easily.
Depending on your preference, you may also add dried mint leaves, carom seeds and chilli flakes while making your own chaat masala.
Chaat masala is a blend of many spices that contain antioxidants, vitamins and minerals in them. They certainly help boost the digestive fire and also promotes digestion.
The ingredients in chaat masala helps lower blood pressure levels. They prevent bloating and gas too.
How To Make Weight Loss Juice
Add the sliced cucumber and ginger pieces to a blending jar along with other herbs.
You can add chaat masala now.
Chaat masala already has black salt in it so, check the salt after blending and add more black salt if needed. You may also add rock salt too.
Blend with half cup of water.
Filter the mixture. (I usually do not filter mine as we will be filtering all the fibre, But my husband does not like it unfiltered, literally no one else does :)) So filtered, unfiltered, your choice.
Add three cups of water to it. You can adjust the consistency of the juice to however you want.
Drink this throughout the day to hydrate and nourish your body this summer.
This juice for weight loss and glowing skin can be made easily.
Refrigerate for 30 minutes or more before serving. It tastes better that way.
Or you can add ice cubes to it.
