Goodal vitamin C Serum Review – Recently, I came across a video discussing the most popular skin care products in Korea. One particular item caught my attention, ranking either first or second, but definitely within the top three. It’s called Goodal vitamin C serum, and what sets it apart is that it’s all natural, unlike the typical L-ascorbic acid or other variations commonly found in the market.
Although I had this product on my wish list for quite some time, I wasn’t particularly excited to try it due to my misconceptions about naturally derived vitamin C products. However, when I ordered the Beauty of Joseon sunscreen and the Isntree sunscreen, I was pleasantly surprised to receive two tubes of this dark spot serum for free with each package. Despite my skepticism, I decided to give it a chance, and I’m glad I did.
Now, let’s move on to my review of the Goodal vitamin C serum. If you have any questions, feel free to comment, and I’ll be more than happy to assist you.
The nature-based tangerine ingredient, extracted from clean Jeju Island will energize and gently improve your blemishes without irritating your sensitive skin. This serum is also good for everyone, since it is clinically verified both for its brightening functionality and its safeness on irritation. All of this is formulated in a moisturizing cream type that sinks down fast, so you can use this all seasons, day & night!
62% Green tangerine extract with nature-derived Vitamin C that add vitality and energy to skin
Skin-brightening ingredient* that helps removing dark spots and brightens your skin tone (* Niacinamide)

As you can see, Goodal vitamin C serum certainly has an impressive ingredient list.👏👏👏
10ml – 540rs | Sale – 100rs
30ml – 1850rs | Sale – 1200rs
You only need a tiny amount so 30ml lasts for 3 months so it is worth the money.
It has a hint of citrus scent which fades away in a couple of minutes. The scent is totally natural as the product is fragrance free.
TEXTURE & FINISH
Goodal vitamin C serum has a light weight gel texture that is not too thick and not too thin but on application, it does appear to be tacky. The stickiness is not uncomfortable though.
Skin Type – Normal Sensitive
Goodal vitamin C serum comes in a convenient pump bottle packaging and has a pale yellow colour is not really noticeable. For the longest time I thought it was a clear gel. The gel itself is slightly thick but it spreads and gets absorbed easily. The finish is slightly sticky but one that wont bother you too much. I layer it with a winter moisturiser and sunscreen. By this point, there is no stickiness at all. My skin just looks dewy, calm and healthy.
Initially the serum did break me out so stopped using it for a week to let my skin heal. Later I gave it another try by limiting its use to 2 times a week until my skin slowly got used to the serum. Now a days I am able to use it in the morning and at night alternating with AHA and retinol without any problems.
Although Goodal vitamin C serum contains essential oils, it felt really gentle and did not irritate my sensitive skin. I love the fact that it is free from artificial fragrance and neither does it oxidise ever. I did not get any of the usual sensitive skin warnings like, warm, tingling, stinging or burning sensation either. If you get any of these reactions, start slow like 1-2 times a week and work your way up.
I had two acne scars on my forehead and now, it is faded completely. The dark spots would have faded from retinol and AHA, but the results were comparatively faster this time.
Same goes with the mild hyper pigmentation around my mouth. It has not yet gone completely but it has faded considerably that it is barely noticeable now. This is after using the serum regularly for more than a month.
Apart from these major changes, my overall skin complexion has brightened and the skin texture looks smooth and calm. Its either the Goodal vitamin C serum or the Cosrx snail mucin essence, maybe both of these product complement each other so well. I use the Physiogel AI lotion as my moisturiser which also helps repair the skin barrier and nourish it. Anyways, my skin has never looked better.
By far, this is the best vitamin C serum that i have used which did not irritate my sensitive skin. I am happy with the results. The Goodal vitamic C serum does everything it CLAIMS to do – Brightens skin , fades dark spots, acne scars and other blemishes, even tones the skin.
