Goodal Green Vitamin C Serum Review | Tangerine Vita C Dark Spot Serum

Goodal Green Vitamin C Serum Review

Goodal vitamin C Serum Review | Recently, I came across a video discussing the most popular skin care products in Korea. and one product stood out, ranking in the top three. It is the Goodal vitamin C serum, known for being all natural unlike the usual L-ascorbic acid or other common variations in the market.

Although I had the Goodal vitamin C serum on my wish list for quite some time, I was not particularly excited to try it due to my misconceptions about naturally derived vitamin C products. Also, I have been using The Ordinary 23% vitamin C suspension for quite some time. Since it seemed to be working, I did not see a reason to switch to another product. That was when I received two complimentary tubes of this dark spot serum with my Kbeauty orders. I decided to give it a chance, and I am glad that I did.

FRAGRANCE

It has a hint of citrus scent which fades away in a couple of minutes. The scent is totally natural as the product is fragrance free.

TEXTURE & FINISH

Goodal vitamin C serum has a light weight gel texture that is not too thick and not too thin but on application, it does appear to be tacky. The stickiness is not uncomfortable though.

MY EXPERIENCE

Skin Type – Normal Sensitive

Goodal vitamin C serum comes in a convenient pump bottle packaging and has a pale yellow colour is not really noticeable. For the longest time I thought it was a clear gel. The gel spreads and gets absorbed easily. The finish is slightly sticky but one that wont bother you too much. I layer it with a winter moisturiser and sunscreen. By this point, there is no stickiness at all. My skin just looks dewy, calm and healthy.

Initially the serum did break me out so I stopped using it for a week to let my skin heal. Later I gave it another try by limiting its use to 2 times a week until my skin slowly got used to the serum. Now a days I am able to use it in the morning and at night alternating with AHA and retinol without any problems.

Although Goodal vitamin C serum contains essential oils, it felt really gentle and did not irritate my sensitive skin. I love the fact that it is free from artificial fragrance and neither does it oxidise ever. I did not get any of the usual sensitive skin warnings like, warm, tingling, stinging or burning sensation either. If you get any of these reactions, start slow like 1-2 times a week and work your way up.

RESULTS

goodal serum review

When applied at night with either Physiogel AI moisturiser or Bioderma atoderm baume, my skin looks smooth, calm and bright in the morning. My skin became brighter, and my sun tan started fading within just three weeks.

I had a couple of acne scars on my forehead and now, they has faded completely. The dark spots would have faded from retinol and AHA, but the results were relatively faster this time.

Apart from these, my overall skin complexion has brightened and the skin texture looks smooth and calm. Its either the Goodal vitamin C serum or the Cosrx snail mucin essence, maybe a combination of both.

This is one of the best vitamin C serums that I have used which did not irritate my sensitive skin. I am happy with the results. The Goodal vitamic C serum does everything it CLAIMS to do – Brightens skin , fades dark spots, acne scars and other blemishes, even tones the skin.

    • Hi Aisa, I’ve never tried applying the serum on dry skin. I usually use it after applying toner and sometimes on damp skin during my lazy days, followed by a moisturizer.
