Purito Daily Go-To Sunscreen SPF50+ PA++++ Review

Purito sunscreen review

Purito Daily Go-To Sunscreen Review – Hey beautiful ladies, before I begin, let me first wish you all a happy Christmas and fantastic new year. I am grateful for all the memories we made in 2022 and the ones we will create in the coming year. Hope 2023 year will be relatively peaceful and happier than 2022.

Back to our main topic, WHY CHOOSE PURITO SUNSCREEN? Well, I chose this sunscreen firstly because it is free from artificial fragrance which is a boon for sensitive skin people like me and secondly, it is free from controversial UV filters and essential oils and thirdly, it comes in a 60ml tube which I think is profitable when compared to its counterparts in the market. Purito daily go-to sunscreen has been on my Wishlist for a some time but it has been out of stock for so long.

Quantity Vs Price – Most sunscreens come in a 50ml packaging while there are a few exceptions to this. Missha sun milk comes in a 70ml bottle with an affordable price but it has some questionable ingredients that I am quite certain my sensitive skin will not tolerate, so I had to skip that one to save money and my skin. Purito was my next best choice with 60ml of product so here I am.😇

After the previous Purito scandal, the company has uploaded the lab test report on their website. Although late, they are keeping up with the trend I guess.

REVIEW

Skin Type – Dry this winter, normal sensitive skin otherwise.

My skin has not been behaving well this winter. I had to take a break from mineral sunscreens, retinol and chemical exfoliators since my skin was painfully dry. Moisturise, moisturise and moisturise, that is exactly what I will be doing this cold winter. Of course, we cannot skip sunscreen no matter the season or weather, may it be cloudy or rainy, slather that sunscreen and reapply 2-3 hours to protect your skin.

CONSISTENCY – Purito daily go-to sunscreen has a lotion like consistency and it does hydrate my skin which makes it perfect for the winter season. Because of its light weight consistency, it is really easy to spread and blends in perfectly without leaving any oiliness or white cast behind. The sunscreen does not feel heavy or uncomfortable on my skin.

FINISH – Purito sunscreen does not clog pores or irritate my eyes either. The finish is dewy/glow-y and non sticky with zero white cast. If you like matte sunscreens then this is not the one for you. In my opinion, It would be almost too dewy for normal-oily skin. Again, not the best sunscreen for the hot summers.

While blending, I did not notice any pilling, It sits beautifully under makeup. I reapply with a stick sunscreen and so I haven’t tested how this sunscreen would fare on reapplication. Usually sunscreens cause a mild itching or burning sensation on my sensitive skin but I haven’t had any reaction to this sunscreen however mild it may be.

REAPPLICATION – Korean sunscreens make it super easy to apply 2-3 finger full sunscreen without tugging, pulling or feeling heavy. You will feel almost nothing on your skin which is true in the case of Isntree watery sun gel, Beauty of Joseon sunscreen, Etude house and Cosrx aloe sun cream.
