Purito Centella Unscented Toner Review

purito unscented toner

Purito centella unscented toner has all the great qualities of its previous version but without essential oils. It contains powerful ingredients like Madecassoside, Asiaticoside, and 10% Centella Asiatica to soothe breakouts and skin irritation, along with Panthenol for skin restoration and a stronger skin barrier.

As someone with sensitive skin, I am always cautious about using products with added fragrances, as they can often lead to irritation and redness. The fact that this toner is free from any artificial fragrances makes it an great choice for my skincare routine. I no longer have to worry about potential allergic reactions or discomfort caused by artificial fragrance. Instead, I can focus on its nourishing and soothing properties.

PRODUCT DETAILS

Introducing the upgraded version of the Centella green level calming toner, now without any essential oils. This new formula harnesses the power of 10% Centella Asiatica Extract and Panthenol to provide soothing relief to irritated skin. Additionally, Sodium Hyaluronate with its small molecular structure attracts and deeply nourishes rough skin, replenishing it with moisture.

The toner boasts a low pH of 5.5 and is alcohol-free, making it an excellent choice for sensitive skin as the first step in your skincare regimen.

KEY INGREDIENTS

Centella Asiatica: Renowned for its wound-healing properties, Centella Asiatica is often referred to as “tiger grass” due to a legend that tigers would roll over it to heal wounds. The CICA component in Centella soothes and reduces skin inflammation, promoting a calmer complexion.

Sodium Hyaluronate: Sodium Hyaluronate helps make the skin softer and less dry by adding moisture to its outer layers.

Panthenol: Perfect for sensitive skin, Panthenol transforms into vitamin B when absorbed by the body. It effectively soothes and rejuvenates tired skin while strengthening the skin barrier. Its calming properties help reduce redness and soothe sensitivity.

HOW TO USE

After cleansing your face, take a moderate amount of toner and apply it to your hand or a cotton pad. Then, gently spread it over your skin. For best results, lightly tap the toner to ensure maximum absorption.

For those with very dry or sensitive skin, you have the option to apply the toner 2 to 4 times, patting it in until it is fully absorbed. Alternatively, you can saturate thin cotton pads with the toner and use them for an extra hydration.

REVIEW

I have been using the Purito Centella Unscented Toner for some time now, and it is a crucial part of my skincare routine. Since I use retinol creams, my skin often gets red and irritated. Applying 2-3 layers of this toner has been a lifesaver, calming my skin and reducing redness.

The texture of the toner is interesting, runny yet slightly viscous, making it easy to spread on my face. I love that the toner contains not only centella but also its ingredients like adecassoside, asiaticoside, madecassic acid, and asiatic acid. It provides a comforting and soothing sensation on my skin despite being lightweight.

The toner provides a lightweight, hydrating feel, absorbs quickly, and leaves my sensitive skin moisturized and calm. This toner is great because it helps relieve that tight feeling, especially when I’m using tretinoin, which can make my skin more sensitive. The Purito centella unscented toner not only soothes but also improves skin texture, replenishes moisture, and reinforces the skin barrier.
