O3+ D-Tan Pack Review

o3+ d-tan pack review

O3+ D-Tan Pack Review – I had reviewed the O3+ bridal facial kit earlier, in case you missed it you can check it out in the link. I really loved that facial kit as it does everything it claimed to do. Today it is all about the d-tan pack from the same brand. Honestly speaking I was not too keen on trying this because even when I used it  as part of the 10 step facial kit, I did feel a burning sensation on my skin.

Product was gifted by my mom.😇

MY EXPERIENCE

Skin Type – Normal Sensitive

I am a huge fan of sheet masks but face packs, not so much. Rather than slathering chemical filled packs, I love using homemade face packs with aloe vera, gram flour, fruits, rice flour, turmeric, oats, lotus, liquorice to name a few. Although the results might not be instant or miraculous, but on regular use, I certainly find that they do work beautifully well in removing sun tan, brightening, hydrating as well as calming my sensitive skin.

Coming to the O3+ D-tan pack, I received this one as gift from my mom. She has been using this for quite some time after the salon lady recommended it to her. They do charge 450rs for this d-tan pack plus extra for facials at the salon which I believe is a rip off.

O3+ d-tan pack is very creamy and thick but it does spread easily without tugging the skin. It has a very mild fragrance. Once applied, there is a burning sensation on my nose and upper lip area probably due to the presence of mint and eucalyptus extracts. The burning sensation does fade away in 3-5 minutes.

O3+ d-tan pack did not cause any redness or skin irritation on my sensitive skin.

The brand recommends leaving the face pack for just 10 minutes but I did leave this on for 15-20 minutes.

RESULTS

o3+ d-tan pack review

O3+ d-tan pack does remove sun tan by one shade but if there is older stubborn tan, then you may need multiple uses to get your skin tone to normal. It is certainly not a magical product and takes 3-4 uses to show results. This does brighten my skin after several hours of using it. Do remember to use a sunscreen with spf 50 religiously and reapply as often as needed especially if you are using a brightening and lightening skin care product. This helps keep your skin healthy, even toned and also, prevents dull, dark lifeless skin.

PROS

Comes in 2 sizes
Creamy texture
Easy to spread
Did not cause breakouts or skin irritations
Mild peppermint fragrance
Removes recent sun tan
Noticeable difference in 3-4 uses
Temporarily brightens and tightens the skin

CONS

Unhygienic tub packaging
Burning sensation on skin
Price is high especially for the 50g pack
May not suit all skin types

REPURCHASE?

NOPE, I will not repurchase O3+ d-tan pack, since a chemical exfoliator(AHA) serum, vitamin C serum and sunscreen is enough to give me even toned brighter skin. This routine seems to be working for my skin as I could see visible changes in terms of skin tone as well as skin texture. I did use Alpha-arbutin for a short period of time to brighten my skin too.

I am sure that this big tub is going to last until its expiry date which is until 2025. And finally, you have reached the end of my O3+ d-tan pack review.
