L’Oreal Paris Dream Lengths No Haircut Cream Review

L'Oreal Paris Dream Lengths No Haircut Cream

Today I am back with the L’oreal no haircut cream review for you guys. I have to confess, this is my first leave-in conditioner, and it’s the only one I have used since. I never realized how essential a leave-in cream could be in my hair care routine until I struggled to tame my frizzy hair, no matter what I tried.

Speaking of my hair, I have wavy hair that is hip-length, which is pretty long. It is quite a task to maintain, but I absolutely love having long hair because it suits me the best. For quite some time now I have been neglecting my hair care routine due to some family emergencies, and it was starting to show. My hair had become dry, frizzy, and looked unhealthy. It was time I took haircare seriously else I would have to chop it all off.

MY HAIR CARE ROUTINE

I started off by oiling my hair with a blend of coconut oil, castor oil and a few drops of rosemary oil. I do let it sit for a couple of hours. Wrapping with a hot towel sort of increased my hair fall even though it was supposed to be good for my medium porosity hair. After rinsing my hair, I introduced the Dove hair mask and Re’equil Bassubasu conditioner. Again, these changes really did improve my hair quality but my ends were still getting frizzy and my braids would still get tangled at the end of the day.

My hair needed more hydration and that is when I decided to give the Loreal leave-in conditioner a chance since everyone was raving about it online and it is such a budget-friendly product. So not much to lose there. I got it in the last sale for such a steal price and have been using it a more than a month. Well, Here is my experience with this leave-in cream. Hope it helps you in some way.

REVIEW

The Loreal Leave-in conditioner is pale pink and has a strong fragrance which I find off-putting. I have a sensitive nose and am prone to migraines. Well, fortunately, it did not trigger my sensitivities and I was comfortable with its scent. I hope they do come up with a fragrance-free variant of this cream.

The cream is not that thick when compared to a conditioner or a hair mask. It has a nice slip and helps detangle hair easily. I do not even need that much for my super long hair. My hair never felt greasy or weighed down by it. It feels just right.

After my oil-shampoo-hair mask-conditioner routine, I apply the Loreal leave-in cream to damp hair. I comb through with my fingers. I follow it up with a couple of drops of oil to seal the moisture in. Since I started this routine, my hair has never felt better. It is completely frizz-free, super shiny, soft, and looks healthy. My braids look smooth and silky which I absolutely love. I have been using this product for quite a while and each time, I am amazed by the results, considering how much of a difference one product can make. While I don’t have anything to compare it to, Still I never expected it to moisturise my hair this well.

I usually let my hair dry naturally but if you are someone who likes to blow dry your hair, this product does offer heat protection up to 450 degrees. so no worries there. You can also use this on dry hair before heat styling to protect it. I haven’t tried heat styling yet, so I cannot speak to that aspect.

NOTES

As I already mentioned earlier, This conditioner has a strong fragrance so it may not suit those super sensitive to certain scents since it could trigger a migraine.

If you feel that this product is drying out your hair, try applying a couple of drops of any lightweight oil as the final step. Personally, I think this is the perfect way to hydrate your hair because it helps seal in the moisture, preventing it from escaping once the hair dries.
