Our Experience
I bought this mask for my husband and myself. We kept it for 30 minutes.
When he removed the mask, as always there was serum left to be absorbed. You have to massage it in. Skin does appear to be soft and hydrated. Many people reviewed that this mask calms their acne but i did not find any such ingredients in the analysis report. Neither of us have acne so i cannot comment on that.
I loved the effect of this sheet mask on his skin. The dull skin became soft, calm and little brighter. Although he was expecting miracles 🙂 How should i put it? The tiredness was not there anymore and the skin appears fresh, rejuvenated.
It is good to apply this after a tired day. Your skin will love it. But that is the case for the other sheet masks too. Most of the sheet masks hydrate your skin and it works better because of the serum that penetrates into the deeper layers of your skin.
Apart from the ones that i have mentioned in this post Sheet Masks for Removing Tan, Brightening And Lightening Skin Tone, Most of the sheet mask have almost the same ingredients that hydrates, soothes and calms your skin.
The Face shop Soothing Jelly Essence Mask does calm, soothe and hydrate. After applying this sheet mask, the skin becomes so soft. You can leave it over night too and let the goodness of the serum get absorbed completely.
My Experience:
On my sensitive skin, This sheet mask did not do well. There was redness and itching on different parts of my face especially my neck. I couldn’t keep the serum overnight Or even for twenty minutes and had to wash it off. The redness and Itching subsided after i applied lacto Calamine. Nothing serious but I was certainly disappointed. 🙁

Cons:
- Does not suit sensitive skin
- No effect on pores on single use.
- Considering the ingredients which is not that impressive, the price is more. It feels like they charged for the flashy packaging. The sheet mask is thicker than the usual ones I have used.
Will I Recommend The Face Shop Soothing Jelly Mask?
Yes, it does soothe and calm irritated and sunburnt skin. Suits every skin type except sensitive skin. Maybe long term use may have an effect on pore size.
