Egg And Coconut Oil Hair Mask For Hair Growth

egg and coconut oil hair mask

This is my mom’s Go-To egg hair mask that i am sharing today. When i visit my hometown the next time, i will certainly take a photo of her beautiful bouncy hair for you guys. 🙂

During my school days my mom used to come to school during parent teacher meetings and progress card signing. The teachers and my friends always ask me about her hair and comment on how beautiful it is. I sense a hint of jealousy there. 🙂 There never was a time that did not happen.

I remember seeing her leave from my classroom window. Her hair cut was a simple straight cut but it looked like it was straightened and it really reflected light. In my memories, she always had tangle free hair.

She did have super long and thick hair during her during her twenties but later she cut it and keeps it at medium length till now.

All the ingredients that i have used are homemade.

All the ingredients that i have used here are homemade. I will post a video on how to make Virgin Coconut Oil At home soon. But in case you do not have it, you can find good quality coconut oil here.

Egg – 1

Coconut oil – 2 Tablespoon

Aloe Vera Gel – 2 Tablespoon

Curd  – 2 Tablespoon

This egg hair mask recipe should be enough for chest length hair so adjust the amount of curd if you longer hair. If you have short hair then, take only one tablespoon of coconut oil.

You may substitute coconut oil with Extra virgin olive oil and that should work too.

I had previously posted an Egg Hair Mask which some of you may have already tried. It works well on my hair.

    • You can use this hair mask once a week. Leave it on for about an hour. Do not let it dry though. Rinse the mask off, shampoo and condition as usual.

If you are sensitive to the egg smell, Pour lemon juice+water all over your hair after rinsing the hair mask. Leave it on for 3 minutes before rinsing. This should get rid of the smell completely.
