Biotique Bio Cucumber Pore Tightening Toner has been a cult favourite and almost everybody i know have used this at least once. This is such a good product in a budget. The quality and quantity of this biotique cucumber toner is on par with its counterparts in the market.

It is suitable for normal to oily, acne prone skin types. Extremely sensitive skin beauties should stay away from this toner though.

My Experience

My skin has been acting weird this whole rainy season. I always had normal skin but it has changed to combination skin now. My nose becomes oily and even got acne. I recently ate lot of chocolates and even fried evening snacks. Hence i decided to restrict my junk food diet and follow proper acne skin care to get my glow back.

This Biotique bio cucumber pore tightening toner is green in colour and has a strong alcohol/spirit/astringent smell that might be too strong for a sensitive nose. 🙁 It does not stay long though. Usually strong fragrance give me a headache and so i tend to avoid it. This one did not give me a headache and as long as it was working properly, i did not mind the strong scent.

Although Biotique toner does not come in a spray or pump type packaging, i never felt like there was product wastage. I always took a little on my cotton pad and that was enough. I would probably take the same amount or more if it was pump packaging.

Firstly, It does remove all the impurities left behind from cleansing. It does a better job at removing extra oil and dirt than my DIY green tea toner. Secondly, This cucumber toner gives a matte and clean look to my face. It does help in tightening pores and reducing its appearance although it is temporary.

Biotique bio cucumber pore tightening toner did not irritate my sensitive skin. 🙂 However, i did feel a mild burning sensation on my skin. It faded away after a few seconds though. There was no redness or itching that i usually get whenever i have an allergy to a particular product.

This toner is pretty long lasting and when compared to its price, it is such a steal. The product lasts for 2.5-3 months when used twice daily.

Biotique products are pretty much available everywhere from small super markets to online shops. Online shops do provide offers on regular basis though.

Just a reminder that this is not an all natural product like it claims. 🙁 For one thing, It does have artificial fragrance. I am pretty sure it has alcohol. But it definitely works in controlling oil and keeping the skin matte for a considerable amount of time.
