3. Dark Circles due to lack of sleep

This might be the most common reasons for panda eyes. Switch off the laptop, TV and other devices two hours before sleep as it interferes with the hormones.

Try to sleep in a quiet peaceful and dark room. Listen to guided meditation or ASMR meditation or music which ever works for you. Make sure to do moderate exercise for 30 to 45 minutes everyday, Even brisk walking will do.

Drink 10-12 glasses of water

Coffee, Aloe Vera And Grape seed Oil Pack

Coffee – 1 teaspoon
Aloe Vera gel – 1 teaspoon
Grape seed oil – 2 teaspoon or as required

Rice Flour, Cucumber Juice And Lemon

Rice flour – 1 tablespoon
Cucumber juice – 2 teaspoon
lemon juice – 1 teaspoon

Tomato Juice

Tomato juice has skin brightening properties that helps reduce dark circles. In case you do not have time rub a slice of tomato to the under eye area. massage gently for 10 minutes.

Tomato Juice – 1 tablespoon

Coffee, Black Pepper, And Oil

You can use olive oil or coconut oil for this recipe.

Coffee – 1 teaspoon
Pepper – a pinch
Oil –  1.5 teaspoon

Rice Flour, Tomato Juice And Lemon

Rice flour – 1 table spoon
tomato Juice – 2 Tablespoon
lemon – 1 teaspoon

Banana Peel mask

You can massage the inside of the banana peel directly on the under eye area.

Cold compress

Use a gel mask or a cold spoon for this purpose. Remember to do this everyday.

Avoiding extra salt

Naturally sodium makes you retain water. This can causes bags under your eyes. Say goodbye to pickles as it contains more salt than your body’s daily requirement. Recently studies showed that presto contains the highest amount of salt.

Tea bags for brighter eyes

Tea Bag – 2 dipped in hot water and cooled

Along with any treatment that you follow you should use tea bags and cold gel masks because it definitely helps.Tea contains natural tannin which helps brighten the dark circles with consistent use.

You can place used tea bags in the fridge for 20 minutes and then place it on your eye for 15 minutes.

How to Prevent Dark Circles?

  • Apply antiaging retinol creams twice a week if you are above 25 years
  • Treat your under eye area gently
  • Do not tug and pull while using a makeup remover. Use soft cotton pads or cotton balls to gently remove eye makeup.
  • For a soothing effect use refrigerated cucumber,potato slices or a spoon. This helps in constricting swollen under eye blood vessels.
  • Use essential oils like rose and geranium, these oils are believed to reduce dark circles.
  • Drink lots of water and stay hydrated.
  • Eat at foods packed with vitamin C like lemon, oranges, papaya, tomato, pineapple and mango.
  • Take vitamins like vitamin c, copper and amino acids if necessary.Check with a doctor regarding this.
  • Reduce alcohol intake
  • Sleep well for at least 8 hours
  • Include 30 minute of exercise
  • Have dark chocolates to reduce sun damage

You have to heal your body if you have any health issues. If you don’t, then even the expensive creams will not work on the dark circles.
