The Coverage of Olay foundation is low to medium. It brightens up your face and makes it look like its glowing. It will not cover scars and marks.

My Experience:

I have read many women in their fifties swear by olay products although they always use the term ‘Oil Of Olay’ 🙂 I always search for such reviews so that I can help my mom have better skin. There are women who have been avid users of Olay for decades and their reviews tempted me to try this day cream. These women credit Olay for looking better than other women of their same age. Okay, diet and exercise plays a big role too.

Olay Total effects foundation has a creamy texture, although a little bit more of the product will result in a ashy face. It has anti ageing benefits, brightening ingredients and skin healing ingredients which improve your skin over time. It may take up to three months to see permanent brightness and even toned skin.

Does Olay Total Effects Work?

The day cream does help to remove tan too, obviously not in a day or a week. Given enough time, Olay Total effects gives a plumping effect on the skin.

• All this benefits of Olay Total effects foundation will only be visible if you use a broad spectrum sunscreen of spf 30+++ or above. You should not solely depend on this cream for sun  protection.
• As per my dermatologist, Even cooking in the kitchen causes our skin to become dull and dark. Spf 15 of this cream is enough when you are indoors. 🙂
• If fine lines and wrinkles are your issue opt for a night cream that has potent ingredients like retinol which works better than this cream.

This cream is not water proof but water resistant so this is another reason to slather your broad spectrum sunscreen over this. When you sweat the product comes off with each wipe. 🙁 I would not suggest using this cream in summers especially if you are not in an air conditioned environment.

Depending on the climate and humidity the finish of Olay Total effects Touch of foundation can be dewy or matte. This is personally my experience. I used this when i was in my home town and it gave me a matte finish. As you can see in the below picture I got the same matte finish on my face.
