Before buying the real thing i decided to try the trial pack to check whether the shade matches my skin tone. And because the product is on the costlier side compared to other bb creams, i had to confirm its effects on my sensitive skin.

There is no white cast or grey cast on my hand although i am of medium skin tone.

You can see why i love this bb cream. The ingredients are amazing compared to those i have tried before.

How to use

Apply a pea size amount and dot evenly around the face and blend it into the skin from center outwards. Apply more as needed or for extra coverage.

My Experience

Normal sensitive skin

Firstly,  i have sensitive skin and hence i buy these trial packs before buying the tube. Secondly, Klairs Illuminating Supple Blemish Cream SPF 40/PA++ is kind of costly compared to its other counterparts too.

The cream is neither runny nor thick. It is just the right consistency so that you can blend it even with your fingers. Blending it with a sponge definitely gives a much better finish and coverage. The coverage is light but you can certainly layer the product to medium coverage.

Klairs Illuminating Supple Blemish Cream SPF 40/PA++ is light weight and hence even if you layer the product to medium coverage, you may not feel anything on your skin. It is really comfortable to wear.

The illuminating BB cream is not a concealer because it does not hide deep dark circles and large open pores. Obviously, this is not a replacement for full coverage foundation.

Performance

The BB cream lasts through the whole day for about 8-9 hours with powder touch ups in between. Klairs Illuminating Supple Blemish Cream does not helps control the oiliness so you may need to use a primer or a good compact/setting powder to deal with the shine.

Klairs bb cream gives a satin finish and suits even dry skin. In other words, It does live up to its claim of hydrating your skin. It may take up to 5-10 minutes until the bb cream settles down. This feature is just the same as that of a foundation. The Klairs bb cream does not oxidise to a darker shade.

Although the product has an SPF of 40+++, better not to use it as a sunscreen. The product is not suitable to reapply every 2-4 hours. So depend on a good sunscreen and reapply as needed if you are out in the sun.

Unfortunately Klairs Illuminating Supple Blemish Cream SPF 40/PA++ comes in a single shade. 🙁 It suits those with light to medium skin tones. If you are darker than NC40, you can skip this one.
