Klairs Supple Preparation All-over Lotion review

My Experience

Skin Type – Normal Sensitive

The Klairs Supple Preparation All-over Lotion is definitely perfect for summers. I have normal skin and i do moisturise immediately after showering. So i rarely feel my skin being dry or stretchy.

When i first got the Klairs Supple Preparation All-over Lotion, i did not read the cover properly and hence did not realize that it could be used for the body and hair too. I applied this to my face. To be honest, i did not like the feeling at all. Although the product gets easily absorbed, it is heavy and slightly greasy on my normal skin.

However luckily this lotion did not cause any irritation or break outs. Because of my sensitive skin,  I do not apply body lotion on my face even if the company says so.

I stopped using this after 3-4 days as i could not stand being uncomfortable. Later i read the info on their website and came to know more about this product.

On my hands, it is just like any other body lotion. It certainly moisturises properly. I do not feel any need to reapply. There is no stickiness to it and gets absorbed easily. The skin appears to be baby soft. Finally, The scent is pleasant and does not linger for longer periods.

Klairs Supple Preparation All-over Lotion has brightening, anti ageing and skin calming ingredients in it. This makes it perfect for the summers as it helps soothe sun burnt skin.

Will i buy it ?

No, i did not see much difference compared to other body lotions. It is an above average body lotion for the summers. It has an amazing ingredient list. I may have to reapply it in the winters though. There are many other options available in the market at a better price range.

Pros

  • Non sticky
  • Moisturises properly
  • perfect for summers
  • Has anti ageing benefits
  • Light weight and comfortable on the body
  • Soothes irritated and sun burnt skin
  • No greasy feel
  • Easily absorbed
  • No breakouts
  • Suits my sensitive skin
  • Can be used on face, body and hair

Cons

  • May not be hydrating enough for dry skin
  • Greasy when applied on my face
  • Feels heavy on face
