Ingredients
How Can I Use Aloe Vera Gel On My Face?
Wash your hands first especially since this product comes in a tub packaging.
Use your fingertips to scoop out a small amount of the gel.
Dot your face with this aloe gel and massage gently in small circular motion.
My Experience
Skin Type – Normal Sensitive
I usually make Aloe Vera Gel At Home but, the shelf life is only a week unless i freeze them into cubes. As i am letting the plant grow, i decided to buy a chemical free aloe gel online and after comparing the ingredients, this particular aloe vera gel had the safest ingredients.
This aloe Vera gel from Greenworth comes in a tub packaging.
Keep the gel in the refrigerator, it feels nice and cool on the skin.
The gel is suitable for acne prone and sensitive skin types as it has the least amount of chemicals in it. It does not irritate my skin or cause breakouts.
Most importantly, this gel gets absorbed easily without leaving any stickiness behind. Unlike some other gels in the market, this does not rub off/peel off at all.
Greenworth Aloe vera gel is best suited for oily skin.
NEGATIVE POINTS
Although this aloe vera gel boast of its nourishing properties and vitamin E content, it is not sufficient to moisturise my normal skin.
This gel does not hydrate my skin and even though it does not contain alcohol, my skin feels dry, tight and stretchy. I think it may work beautifully on oily skin though.
For dry skin, You need to follow up with a good hydrating moisturiser or mix this with a few drops of your favourite carrier oil before applying.
I had to add glycerine and vitamin E oil/Squalene oil to make this work for my normal skin. Not that i mind it.
I mainly use this as a base for making other DIY face care gels. 🙂 It serves the purpose.
RECIPE
Boil handful of neem leaves, soaked fenugreek seeds and a pinch of turmeric together on low flame. Wait until the water reduces to 3-4 tablespoons. Let it cool down.
Strain the mixture and then, slowly add it to the aloe vera gel. Mix vigorously until it looks all fluffy/airy.
Refrigerate for later use.
For a price of 229/- on offer, Greenworth Aloe Vera gel is such a steal for oily skin beauties. It is always out of stock so that says a lot by itself.
