My Experience
Cetaphil gentle cleanser is best suited for sensitive and dry skin. Those who are undergoing acne treatments can also go for this mild cleanser as it does not dry out or irritate your skin.
Cetaphil cleanser is gentle on the skin, it does remove impurities and dirt. Because it is really mild this cleanser does not lather. You may feel like massaging a lotion over your skin.
There is absolutely no dryness or stretchy feel left once you have rinsed the cleanser off. It can be used by those with air condition dryness or stress on the skin. Cetaphil cleanser can be used in case of skin allergies and even during pregnancy.
Pregnancy causes hormone changes which may in turn make our skin behave strangely.
Acne treatments that usually include hydroxy acid cleansers and retinoids leave the skin dry, peeling and red. In addition to following this acne treatment regimen, you have to make sure to use soothing and gentle products. This makes sure the skin heals faster and does not aggravate any skin conditions.
Hydroxy Acid Cleansers For Brighter And Younger Looking Skin
I have been using cetaphil cleanser for more than five years. I use this along with my hydroxy acid face wash which helps in keeping my skin bright and youthful.
It does help to take off light makeup. But it is preferable to use this cleanser as the second step in double cleansing method. Using an oil cleanser helps remove the heavier makeup.
This cleanser is perfect for the winter season and with the help of a clarisonic cleansing brush, you can thoroughly cleanse your skin without a worry.
Oily skin beauties should try other options as this cleanser has cetyl alcohol and stearyl alcohol. Both have a comedogenic rating of 2 and may cause breakouts.
Although it does not have a clean ingredient list, millions of people swear by it. I am not sure why these ingredients are not causing any reaction on their skin. It is a mystery how it works despite being used on sensitive skin.
