MY REVIEW
Skin Type – Normal Sensitive
This is my second product from the brand Benton after their Aloe propolis soothing gel.(Reviewed here)
The Benton cosmetic stands out in its ability to effectively reduce redness and acne scars. This marvel comes with a smooth and slightly watery texture, which makes it a pleasure to apply. Moreover, it is entirely free of any scent. Upon application, I did notice a slight stickiness, but this sensation quickly fades away as the serum dries off rather quickly. Subsequently, my skin feels as rather smooth but this product by itself is not enough to moisturise my skin throughout the day.
After applying the serum, I noticed a mild stinging sensation, particularly when I followed up with other active serums like vitamin C, retinol or the Goodal serum. The reason behind this reaction is still uncertain. It could be that the ingredients are incompatible, or it could be due to my sensitive skin reacting to this specific combination.
I personally experienced a slight improvement in my complexion, hydration levels, and overall skin elasticity. Initially, I was unsure if it was doing anything for my skin, but with continued use, I noticed significant improvements in skin texture and suppleness. This Benton serum has truly helped my skin by calming down the redness and sensitivity. Although the results weren’t instant, its gentle yet effective formula has shown significant improvement on my delicate skin.
I must say, the price of this product is the only downside. It does seem to be a bit steep for the amount you receive at the full retail value.

Regrettably, this product didn’t meet my expectations, and I won’t repurchase it. Although it’s suitable for my sensitive skin, I can’t layer other serums over it due to the redness and stinging it causes. As a result, I have to use it alone and then apply moisturizer, which simplifies my skincare routine.
