This week i am going to review Aroma magic skin glow facial for you guys. I bought the Aroma magic 5 in 1 variety facial pack on offer from their own website.

The price of the product (five facial kits) is 870 on offer. 🙂

I could never guess which one would work on my sensitive skin so better than buying one large pack of facial kit, buying five single use kits seemed like a better choice for me.

 

Let us see how it fares on my normal sensitive skin.

Product Details

This 7 step facial is formulated to provide a quick, effective way to lighten complexion, under eye dark circles and even out the skin tone of the face and neck area. The natural ingredients gently remove the dead skin layers and restore clear and bright skin.

Step 1: Cleanser

Clean face with sachet no.1 for 3 minutes.

Wipe off with damp cotton.

Step 2 :  Protein Bleach

Make a paste of sachet nos. 2 & 3. That is, the protein bleach powder and the Aha gel.  Apply all over face and neck.

Leave it on for 15 minutes. Massage gently for 3 minutes with damp fingers. Wipe off with damp cotton.

Mix the protein bleach powder and AHA gel together. It helps exfoliate and brighten.

Massaging this mixture into the skin is really important.

Step 3: Skin Serum

Apply skin serum all over face & neck & leave it on for 3 minutes.

Step 4: Oxygenating gel

Without wiping off the serum, apply sachet no.5 all over the face and neck and give either Galvanic (+) for 3 minutes or High Frequency for 3 minutes.

I massaged my face for 10 minutes as usual in this step. Facial massage and lymph gland drainage videos are available on YouTube. Watch that and follow for maximum benefits. 🙂

Step 5: Face Pack

Apply a layer of sachet no. 6 all over face and neck, avoiding the eye area. Leave it on for 15 minutes and wipe off.

The face pack is really creamy like a whipped mousse and so soft.

Step 6: Sunscreen

Apply sachet no.7 to ensure protection.

Tips for Post Treatment Care

• Avoid applying any exfoliator or scrub up to 4 days after taking this treatment.
• Clean with Aroma Magic Grapefruit Face Wash every morning and night
• Every morning protect with Aroma Magic Cucumber Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30
• Lighten and brighten with Aroma Magic Green Tea Face Pack two times a week.

My Experience

Aroma magic skin glow facial kit does help get that parlour glow. It gives a healthy, clean, soft and clear skin. There was no breakouts or irritation from using this facial kit. The only thing is the sunscreen that comes with this facial kit burns my skin like hell. I am not too sure why.

As we are not supposed to wash our face right after a facial or for 24 hours afterwards i endured the burn. It went away after 15 minutes. It does help remove one shade of tan and also blackheads and whiteheads.

Skin glow facial does not have a scrub in it but the protein bleach and AHA gel does help with exfoliation. The glow, brightness and tan removal effects can only be seen the next day. At least that was the case for me. Right after the facial, my skin was soft smooth and nourished but not much brightness was there. 🙁

Right after the facial, my skin does appear super oily. 🙁  Before applying the sunscreen, my skin was clear and matte.(Until step 6) So i am not sure how it would work on oily skin. I hate the sunscreen given with this facial kit. I regret applying it so much.

After applying the sunscreen, there was profuse sweating around my nose and upper lip area. To be honest, it felt really uncomfortable like my skin was not able to breathe. Many people swear by this facial kit but it just did not work that well on my normal sensitive skin.

This is a perfect facial kit for summers as it is gel based and does not contain harsh ingredients.

I am pretty sure the results vary based on skin type.

• Sunscreen burns on my sensitive skin
• Causes sweating around mouth and nose area
• Not much brightening effect
• Does not remove older tan
• Single pack not available

Will I Recommend This Facial Kit?

Skin Glow facial kit may not show results on all skin types 🙁 and hence, i would recommend buying the 5 in 1 facial kit first. You can thus try different facials and choose to buy the one that suits you. I will not be buying the bigger pack of the skin glow facial kit as the results were so-so on my skin.
