Neem Face Pack Benefits
If you make homemade recipes in a careful and conscious way, it is certainly possible to achieve glowing skin without spending a ton of money.
One such ingredient is NEEM, It helps fight, treat and prevent bacterial and fungal infections.
Not only does neem reduce acne and mild skin problems, it also controls excess oil production. Excess sebum is one of the many reasons for blocked pores and pimples.

Neem Face Mask Recipe
IF you are using this neem face mask for pigmentation and acne as a spot treatment or even as an overnight mask, You can use FLAX SEED GEL Instead of the powdered form to avoid a needless mess.
Neem Leaves – A handful or 1 Tablespoon neem powder
Aloe Vera Gel – 2 tablespoon
Lemon Juice – 1 Teaspoon
Wild Turmeric – 1/2 inch piece or 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
Flax seed powder/Gel OR Oats – 2 teaspoon (For those with redness, flaky or sore skin)
Using powdered flax seed does make the face mask thick and once dried, it would flake off. So i recommend using flax seed gel for convenience.
Just boil flax seed with water to make the gel. Keep stirring until the water turns to a gel form. It is super easy and takes less than 10 minutes to make the gel.
- Both Flax seed and Neem provide anti ageing benefits and helps control excess oil production.
- They work together to boost cell repair and healing which in turn helps improve skin texture and tone.

Flax Seed (Optional Ingredient)
Vitamin B-6 found in flax seed is an antioxidant that does help boost collagen production and cell repair.
Flax seed helps soothe inflammation, control oil production, moisturise and protect the skin, and reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles.
It is highly beneficial for those suffering from acne due to hormonal imbalances.
What Can You Use Instead Of Flax Seed?
If you do not have flax seed with you, Go for whole oats instead. They are anti inflammatory and contain peptides too.
Both Flax seed and Whole oats are suitable for all skin types.
Why I Recommend Flax Seed Powder/Gel?
Because the peptides give better results when used along with amino acids.
The peptides present in flax seed work better with the various amino acids in neem. At least in theory, it should work well.
The combination may not be on par with cosmetic or prescription products but, it does provide a natural solution to every skin problem to a certain extent.
How To Use
Use this face mask 4 times a week.
Apply and leave it on until it starts to dry.
Rinse off and follow up with a moisturiser.
It is better to apply this face mask during the night time.
You can use this as a spot treatment twice a day. OR leave it overnight for best results.
For Overnight Use – You can place a cotton ball on top of the face mask so that it absorbs some of the liquid. Now, apply this liquid on the problem areas. This method is much more comfortable than leaving a thicker face mask overnight.
The turmeric does stain your cloths so use an old t-shirt and pillow case.
You can refrigerate the face mask up to 2 weeks to 3 weeks.
Hope this neem face pack for pigmentation, acne and dark spots works well for you too.
