My Experience

Skin Type – Normal Sensitive (Patch test recommended)

I used this both in the winter and summer season. This is perfect for winters but in summer, i felt it to be a little sticky. I did not really apply moisturiser in the summer as the toner did hydrate my skin. I just followed with sunscreen to finish.

Although the toner was a little heavy, it gets absorbed in to the skin pretty easily. But as i said earlier it behaves differently depending on the seasons.

The first time i applied this toner, my skin did break out at the crease of my nose. I am kind of allergic to essential oils. I applied my acne gel and it went away. When i tried it again, i skipped the crease area and since then i haven’t had any problems with it. It certainly works well on the rest of my face.

Apart from the initial scare, i do not have any complaints. Once my skin got used to this toner, it did not cause any issues so far.

The ingredient list is simply amazing as it covers most of our skin concerns like reducing acne, brightening the skin along with anti ageing benefits. It smells good but strong like herbs too even though i cannot pin point the exact smell.

There isn’t any artificial fragrance added to this toner. The scent is from the essential oil blend.

Klairs toner leaves the skin soft, hydrated, smooth and ready for the rest of the skin care products. This is definitely suitable for the 7 skin method of skin care. This toner is perfect for dry flaky skin too as it helps with flaky skin and dry patches. The ingredients are proven to help with hyper pigmentation and overall brightening of the skin.

Will i buy it again?

No, I do not believe the Klairs supple preparation toner is beneficial to my sensitive skin in the long run. It broke me out once and it could happen again. I will stick to their unscented version and play it safe. I really wanted it to work for skin though.

Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner can certainly be used for all skin types provided you are not allergic to essential oils. The toner does help tighten pores and reduce breakouts all the while soothing the skin.

Moreover it is a cruelty free brand plus it is vegan too.

Will I Recommend Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner?

Yes, But sensitive skin beauties should definitely try the trial sachet first.

This toner is almost like a serum. There are such amazing benefits to it. Remember, It takes time to show results. This toner is not a miracle product, it works better than other toners in the market. With consistent usage, it does improve your skin health, texture and tone.

Those who are allergic to essential oils and fragrance may skip this or try their unscented version.
