HOW TO USE

Apply the BB cream like your regular moisturiser. Use light circular strokes starting from the middle of your face outwards on perfectly cleansed skin. For best results, use after Garnier Light Complete Face wash

My Experience

Skin Type – Normal sensitive

As my skin does not do well with cosmetic products i decided to give this trial size product a try first before buying the 30 ml pack.

Garnier bb cream comes in a single beige shade which luckily suited my skin tone once blended. It is quite lotion like and hence is easy to blend. There is no tugging or pulling  involved while massaging the BB cream in.

The fragrance is mild and pleasant.

The product can be layered just on those dark spots without looking cakey.

The sunscreen is certainly a plus but it could have been at least spf 30+++. SPF 24 means, you have to reapply every 120 minutes (2 hours).

This particular BB cream did not irritate my sensitive skin nor did it cause breakouts. So this is such a nice skin care product within the budget. The efficiency cannot be compared to Klairs BB cream but considering the price range, Garnier BB cream is certainly one of the best products in the BB cream category.

The finish is complete matte on my normal skin. It does help control oil to an extent.

Garnier bb cream contains alcohol so i wasn’t sure how it would fare on my normal skin.

It does accentuate my dry spots if i do not apply my Elovera Moisturiser underneath. It is probably because of the winter season. I guess the Garnier BB cream might react differently in the summers. I would not recommend this using this as a stand alone product for those with dry skin and dry patches.

There is an instant brightness effect which i like about this cream. As you can see below, it certainly smooths out the area, blurring imperfections.

Usually my skin becomes red when it is exposed to heat or sunlight which makes it look like a tan. This cream prevents that. Thumps up for that. 🙂

What Is The Negative Point?

This cream does not stay long on my skin. Maybe 2-3 hours tops. After that the brightening effect just fades away. You can see more of the cons below.
